Marty, I'm with you. Hootsuite gives great organizatinal features. Did you know that if you have created lists on the regular Twitter account they will automatically show up in Hootsuite so you can create a column? So now I create my lists in Twitter.com so I can follow them in Hootsuite and also on Seesmic.

Why two organizational websites. Because I can't decide which one I like best! I like the look and feel of Seesmic and I use the version that I downloaded to my computer. With Hootsuite, I didn't like it very much at first because it looks so big and chunky, maybe it was too colorful for me. But now that I am using more features I really am falling in love with it. I also like the Hootesuite analytics which Seesmic doesn't have at least on the desktop version.

I hope you will have great luck with meeting the people who you want to meet in DC. That's a great strategy you are using and one that I use often. I have had the opportunity to meet several people in person who I first conversed with in Twitter.
