Who remembers the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman series from the 70′s? NBC has brought the Bionic Woman back and my man Isaiah Washington has a role. He’s some sort of mentor or something to Jamie Somers. He can also handle a pistol pretty well in his multiple super secret duties.
Those idiots at ABC are going to find out what a mistake it was to cut him loose from Grey’s Anatomy. I never watched it but I started paying attention when they gave him the short end of the stick with his disagreements with the other cast member. Well, Bionic Woman just went up a notch in my estimation simply with the addition of Washington and his character has only been introduced in this the second week of the season.
Isaiah’s reputation is that he’s supposedly a prima donna with an attitude. Hey, isn’t that the Hollywood way? Anyway, check out the Bionic Woman storyline on NBC’s web site. It’s a pretty good series and I think you’ll like it.

A friend of mine brought over the series on dvd and I’ve been watching it. I think it was series 3. He didn’t seem to have much of a role in the show from what I could tell so he was probably easy to get rid of. In particular I like how Grey’s Anatomy is casted. There’s a nice balance of characters, races, personalities. It’s quite refreshing.
It is a good mix but there are so many medical dramas on T.V. there was nothing about it that attracted me in particular. However I’ve always liked Isaiah Washington as an actor and the few minutes that I would watch Grey’s Anatomy was when I’d catch a scene with him in it while channel surfing. He just seemed to be one of the more powerful actors on the show to me. But, hey, I’m a mystery, action, sit-com, sci-fi guy so in the end it never had much of a chance of holding my attention.
